Astralis and Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander agree on a three-year contract extension. There are still question marks behind three players and coach Danny 'zonic' Sørensen.

In-game leader Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander extended his contract with Astralis by three years on Friday. Both parties agreed on a term until summer 2024. The 26-year-old Dane would have been free of charge if he had left Astralis in January next year.

With the contract extension, the possible speculation about the departure of the captain, who has been under contract with Astralis since 2016, ends. However, many question marks remain in the Danish organization. Because with Peter 'dupreeh' Rasmussen, Andreas 'Xyp9x' Højsleth and Emil 'Magisk' Reif, the contracts of three other players end at the end of the year.

In addition, the future of coach Danny 'zonic' Sørensen is uncertain, who should consider saying goodbye to Astralis. The coach's contract also expires at the end of the year. Nicolai 'HUNDEN' Petersen is being discussed as a possible replacement.
