Natus Vincere presents himself unstoppable in the final of the DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 and beats Gambit Esports convincingly. Especially Denis 'electronic' Sharipov and Aleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev shine.

Natus Vincere won the DreamHack Masters Spring 2021. The team from the Ukrainian organization prevailed 3-0 in the final against Gambit Esports on Sunday evening. For Na`Vi it is the first title since January 2021.

Two quick starts for Na`Vi

The final started on Overpass, the first pick from Gambit Esports. Abay 'Hobbit' Khasenov and his teammates didn't get along on this map at all. Na`Vi quickly established an 8-0 lead and never let the opponent come within striking distance. After a 10: 5 in the first half, the team increased the score directly to 14: 5 and prevailed shortly afterwards with 16: 7.

On his own map Dust2, Natus Vincere had bigger problems, although the first half was contested very impressively. Despite losing the pistol round, s1mple and his teammates built an 11: 1 advantage. But Gambit was also strong on the offensive and continued to shorten the gap after the break. At 14:12, however, Na`Vi managed to get the necessary laps for a 16:12 success.

On Train, Gambit Esports presented itself competitively from the start and even won its own T-side 9: 6. After a successful pistol round in the second half, the winner of the IEM Katowice 2021 was in a promising position, but did not make use of it. Natus Vincere quickly took control and was unstoppable on the offensive. The team finished the grand finale with another 16:12 and secured victory.

Statistically, electronic and s1mple were the two best players in the winner: The Russian professional had 75 kills, the Ukrainian star 68. In addition to the first title since the BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020 in January, Natus Vincere can win over 100,000 US dollars in prize money looking forward. Gambit Esports receives $ 42,000 in prize money.

Both teams are not allowed to take a real breather, because they are in action at the EPIC CIS League Spring 2021, which starts on Wednesday. The tournament will be the first event in the CIS region as part of the Regional Major Rankings (RMR) in 2021. The eight best teams will receive important points for qualifying for the PGL Major in Stockholm.
